From September 2021 we will continue to offer 30 hour funded places for some families who are eligible alongside the 15 hour funded places for all 3 and 4 year olds and the 2 year old funded places for some families.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING FUNDED PLACES

If you are eligible for the 2 year old funded place we require an eligibility code that you MUST obtain prior to booking your place with us via Lancashire County Council website.

If you are eligible for the 3/4 year 30 hour funded place we require an eligibility code that you MUST obtain prior to booking your place with us via Lancashire County Council website.

For the standard 15 hour funded place for ALL 3/4 year olds, an eligibility code is NOT needed, as the nursery will apply for this via Lancashire County Council.

Due to a high demand of places at our nursery, we require a £20 refundable deposit to secure your place with us.

Monday - Friday Term Time Only

Session times

8.00am-3.30pm at £37 per day

8.00am - 5.30pm at £47 per day

8.30am-11.30am at £15 per day (limited availability, please enquire)

Additional hours charged at £5 per hour

School Dinners £2.60 per school dinner. No charge for packed lunches. Lunch is between 12pm-12.30pm.

Please note :-

30 hour funded places can be taken over any 3 days from 7.30am til 5.30pm

15 hour funded places can be taken over any 2 days from 8am til 3.30pm

Additional days will be subject to availability.

Friday is for Pre-school children only - ie, they will start school the following September.

***YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DROP YOUR CHILD OFF AT NURSERY AND COLLECT AT ANY TIME DURING THE DAY

We will offer breakfast and tea for those children who attend at this time. Four weeks notice must be given to cancel your child's place. Fees will still be incurred within this period. Repeated lateness will result in extra charges.

Fees

These are to be paid whether your child attends the session or not. Full fees must be paid if your child is ill or on holiday. Please check dates on your newsletter carefully for opening times and dates. The fees are reassessed every year by the committee. Children who are ‘funded’ are allocated 15 OR 30 hours for 38 weeks free. Any extra sessions will be charged. We ask that you complete ‘a payment method slip’ each term. Fees are payable monthly or termly, in advance. Fees will only be accepted in an envelope clearly marked with the child’s name and the amount. A direct debit system is available and cheques are accepted; please make payable to ‘Farington Nursery’. If payment is not received, an arrears letter will be issued. If after a further week still no payment has been received, a letter will be issued stating that their child's place is now in jeopardy and a charge of £10.00 will be added to the arrears. A parent having problems with payment should contact the nursery manager to discuss the arrears. This will be dealt with in the strictest confidence. Nursery reserves the right to cancel the place with immediate effect. If a cheque is returned from the bank a £10.00 charge will be made. Four weeks notice must be given to cancel your child's place. Fees will still be incurred within this period.
